The first Gathering of Surveyors from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska
From October 13 to 15, 2024, the first Gathering of Surveyors from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, titled "A New Era of Cooperation and Development," was held in Fruška Gora. The theme of the event encompassed geodesy in the 21st century, mass appraisal of real estate, sustainable development goals, and new technologies. The organizers included the Republic Geodetic Authority, the Military Geographical Institute, and other institutions.
The goal of the gathering was to connect the most prominent surveying experts from Serbia, Srpska, and the region, discuss current topics, and strengthen mutual cooperation.
Sky Express, at the invitation of the Republic Geodetic Authority, supported the event as a platinum sponsor and participated in a panel discussion titled "Cyber Security." The panel was led by Mr. Vladica Ubavić, Chief Systems Engineer and Security Manager at the Republic Geodetic Authority.
On the panel, executives from Sky Express, Mr. Majo Mićović, CEO, and Mr. Tiodor Jovović, CBO, discussed current issues in the field of information security in the country and the region, particularly emphasizing the importance of ongoing employee education on cyber security as the first crucial step in preserving the security of the information systems of every company and organization, regardless of size and industry.
