Sky Express Montenegro supported the conference: "Cyber Security in the Service of Business Improvement: Optimizing Risks for Competitive Advantage"

As part of the "Days of Science and Innovation 2023" festival, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Montenegro, a conference was held on "Cyber Security in the Service of Business Improvement: Optimizing Risks for Competitive Advantage." The event was organized by the Scientific Technological Park, the University of Montenegro, and Sky Express Montenegro, with support from ICT Cortex and the Regional Center for Cyber Capacity Building (WB3C).

The conference aimed to dispel misconceptions that only large companies and institutions need to focus on cyber defense. It also highlighted the possibility of gaining a competitive advantage by investing in this area and encouraged the strengthening of educational capacities to raise awareness and enhance cyber defense capabilities at the national level.

In the first panel of the conference, titled "StartUP and SMEs (Im)Munity," discussions focused on why SMEs and startups are often targeted by cybercriminals and how investing in cybersecurity can achieve long-term security and business stability. Panelists included Mr. Velibor Bošković, Director of the Scientific Technological Park of Montenegro; Mr. Tiodor Jovović, CBO of Sky Express Montenegro; Mr. Bertrand Fauconnier, CEO of Stratos Advisory Services; Ms. Branka Džakula, Information Security Advisor; and Mr. Aleksandar Obradović, Cybersecurity Consultant. The panel was moderated by Mr. Džemal Lekić, a consultant for digital transformation.

Participants in the second panel, "EdTech - Enhancing Capacities in Cybersecurity Education," focused on the importance of improving educational capacities and adapting educational programs in the field of cybersecurity. Panelists included Prof. Dr. Nikola Žarić, a professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro; Mr. Andrej Nikitin, Cyber Security Engineer at Sky Express Montenegro; Mr. Predrag Puharić, Director of the Cyber Security Excellence Centre in BIH; Mr. Marko Lakić, forensic expert; and Ms. Iva Lazić, Cyber Security Engineer at Sky Express Montenegro. The panel was moderated by Dr. Andreja Mihailović, a collaborator at the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro.

Sky Express engineer Andrej Nikitin emphasized the importance of formal education as a strategic and long-term approach to educating information security engineers. He shared his experiences from the Master's program in "Cyber Security" at UWE Bristol, highlighting the methodology, interactive content, and simulations. Iva Lazić conducted a virtual tour of CybSafe, an innovative cybersecurity education platform, emphasizing its use of behavioral analysis to influence and permanently change user behavior regarding cybersecurity. In June of this year, Sky Express Montenegro, with the support of Evolution Equity Partners, donated 500 licenses for the CybSafe software, valued at 50,000 EUR, enabling UCG employees and students to benefit from the platform's protection and education features.
