First Gathering of Surveyors from Serbia and Republika Srpska
From October 13 to 15, 2024, the first Gathering of Surveyors from Serbia and Republika Srpska, titled “A New Era of Cooperation and Development,” was held on Fruška Gora. The event focused on surveying in the 21st century, mass property valuation, sustainable development goals, and new technologies. The organizers included the Republic Geodetic Authority, the Military Geographic Institute, and other institutions.
The goal of the gathering was to connect the leading surveying experts from Serbia, Republika Srpska, and the region, engage in discussions on current topics, and strengthen mutual cooperation.
Sky Express, at the invitation of the Republic Geodetic Authority, supported the event as a platinum sponsor and participated in a panel discussion titled “Cybersecurity.” The panel was moderated by Mr. Vladica Ubavić, Chief Systems Engineer and Security Manager at RGZ.
During the panel, the leaders of Sky Express, Mr. Majo Mićović, CEO, and Mr. Tiodor Jovović, CBO, discussed current issues in the field of information security in the country and the region, emphasizing the importance of continuous employee education on cybersecurity as the first crucial step in safeguarding the information systems of any company or organization, regardless of its size or industry.
